New God: Fenrir! Fenrir Unbound Runes (Passive) Fenrir gains efficiency as he attacks. Every hit from a basic attack activates 1 rune, up to a max of 5. Each of Fenrir’s abilities gain an additional benefit when used at maximum runes and the runes are consumed. Enemy gods that die near Fenrir will fully activate all his runes. Unchained Fenrir leaps forward, dealing damage to all enemies when he lands. At full runes, the leap stuns the enemies hit. If the leap hits a god, the cooldown is halved. Damage: 95/155/215/275/335 (+80% of your physical power). Stun: 1s. Cost: 65/70/75/80/85. Cooldown: 15s. Seething Howl Fenrir rears back and howls, inspiring himself with a physical power and lifesteal buff. At full runes, the buff is increased by 50%. Physical Power: 10/20/30/40/50. Physical Lifesteal: 5/10/15/20/25%. Buff Duration: 6s. Cost: 60/65/70/75/80. Cooldown: 13s. Brutalize Fenrir pounces to his ground target location. If there was an enemy in the radius, he strikes them 4 times, dealing additional damage with each strike while being immune to knockups. At full runes, each strike deals 75% damage to nearby enemies. Damage: 10/20/30/40/50 (+30% of your physical power). Cost: 70/75/80/85/90. Cooldown: 14s. Ragnarok (Ultimate) When Ragnarok arrives, Fenrir grows massive in size, becoming immune to crowd control while moving faster. Fenrir bites enemy gods, dealing physical damage and carrying them away. Biting a cc immune target deals the damage but ends his ultimate. At full runes, his protections double. Damage: 150/225/300/375/450 (+120% of your physical power). Movement Speed: 50%. Carry Duration: 2s. Cost: 100. Cooldown: 90s. New Skins: Surfin’ He Bo Frostfang Fenrir Voice Packs: Players can now purchase custom voice packs for Neith and Fenrir. Voice packs can be purchased from the GODS menu. Packs will be made available for additional gods in future releases. Once purchased, the voice pack is always used for that god, regardless of skin choice (in the future, some epic skins may overwrite the standard skin choice). General: You can now spectate the matches of friends that are currently in a match from the SOCIAL | FRIENDS menu. You will be spectating on a minimum 3-minute delay. Challenge matches for Assault, Arena, Conquest and Domination can now be setup as 2v2, 3v3, 4v4 or 5v5. Saved Profiles on the CHARACTER BUILDER screen now appear in the Item Store as “FAVORITE” items, replacing the RECOMMENDED list. If you have not saved a profile for a god, you will continue to see the RECOMMENDED items. Performance improvements have been made to the in-game Twitch.TV Broadcast functionality. Achievements have been added for completing the Tutorial the first time, and for winning a match in Arena and Joust Practice for the first time with a god. These give modest Favor rewards. The God List in the Match Lobby and on the GOD screen now scrolls instead of pages. The HOME screen now provides the ability to easily switch between the various 3D promotion scenes. The Match Lobby now displays the name of the Queue from which your match launched. The “last skin played” with a god is now saved with your profile, so that the game will default to that skin in the Match Lobby the next time you play the same god. If you purchase a god while in the match lobby, it is now selected for you after the purchase. Your choice of “Casting Type” in SETTINGS is now stored in the database against your account, so it should follow you between different PCs. Fixed an issue where Cyclops were not playing a death sound when ragdolled on death. Fixed an issue where idle sounds could still be heard on dead ragdolling bodies. The Minotaur can no longer be critted and no longer gives lifesteal (similar to towers). Minions have been been made slightly smaller. The Match Lobby, God screen and Home screen have undergone visual improvements. The normal Conquest queue again accepts 4- and 5-person teams. The algorithm for matching these teams has been tweaked some. The free god rotation is now Freya, Hades, Loki, Xbalanque, Zeus. Spectator Changes Smoothed out rotation into isometric view. Fixed an issue with FOV popping when going in and out of isometric view. Fixed an issue in which a match could close prematurely if a spectator left the match lobby. Spectator min/max heights are now configurable via Input.ini config file. Added a default start height for the top-down viewpoint, also configurable via the Input.ini config file. Fixed a rare crash issue with Hel and spectating. Map Changes Assault An issue in which Blink would not work in Assault mode has been fixed. Assault gamemode now does not allow some “snowball” items (Book of Thoth, Devourer’s Gloves, Doom Orb, Gauntlet of Thebes, Heartseeker, Shielded Recall, Transcendence, Warlock’s Sash). The spawn area architecture has been reworked again to prevent gods from sitting on top of other gods. The shop in will now turn off after a player leaves the base, and will not be available if a player manages to return to it. The spawn area no longer offers heals to friendly players; however, it will still damage enemy opponents who manage to make it into the spawn area. Jungle Practice Fixed an issue where players would not be able to use the shop in the recall location Fixed an issue where the ground effect for the Fire Giant was not being seen Fixed an issue where the Ra Bot would constantly kill himself trying to leave his encounter area. The speed buff icon in the temple is now orange instead of green to match the buff color. Tentative changes have been made to fix an issue where Ra would not level up. Changes have been made around the Level Up volume, which was only working to level up one player. It should now level up all players in the instance. The Message Alert for individual practice segments should now only show to one player, instead of all players in the instance. Active Items Motivate and Portal have been [...]

New God: Ne Zha Child of the Lotus (Passive) When Ne Zha dies, his indomitable spirit is reborn from a Lotus at his location, healing nearby allies every second while increasing their protections. Ne Zha’s basic attacks also utilize a four swing chain, with the final attack in the chain dealing damage to all enemies in front of him. Heal per Tick: 10% of Ne Zha’s Maximum Health. Protections: 30. Duration: 6s. Universe Ring Toss Ne Zha throws the Universe Ring where it bounces to nearby enemies. Each hit deals damage, applies a stacking physical protection debuff for 3s and slows the enemy for 1s. Each successful hit also applies a stacking movement speed buff to Ne Zha for 2s. Damage: 50/70/90/110/130 (+15% of your physical power).. Bounces: 5/6/7/8/9. Protections Debuff: 10 per stack. Slow: 25%. Movement Speed: 4% per stack. Cost: 50/55/60/65/70. Cooldown: 12s. Flaming Spear Ne Zha empowers himself with fighting spirit, igniting his spear for increased Attack Speed and Critical Strike Chance for a short duration. Attack Speed: 15/25/35/45/55%. Critical Strike Chance: 15%. Duration: 6s. Cost: 55/90/65/70/75. Cooldown: 18s. Armillary Sash Ne Zha throws out his Armillary Sash hitting the first enemy god in its path. The target is stunned as Ne Zha yanks himself toward the target, dealing a powerful blow to all enemies in the area when he arrives. Damage: 70/100/130/160/190 (+150% of your physical power). Stun: 1s. Cost: 75. Cooldown: 18/17/16/15/14s. Wind Fire Wheels Ne Zha dashes forward. If he hits an enemy god, he knocks it skyward for 4s, unleashing a combo (successful clicks during the combo allows some hits to be critical strikes), then smashing back to Earth, dealing additional damage to enemies in the radius as he flips back to his starting location. Damage per Hit: 30/50/70/90/110 (+30% of your physical power). Damage (Landing): 60/100/140/180/220. Cost: 80/90/100/110/120. Cooldown: 90. New Skins: Ms. Diagnosis Neith Blue Lotus Ne Zha Cacodemon Ymir (Beta Promotion Exclusive): This skin is automatically awarded to players that reach Level 30 prior to the games’ official release (which is currently planned for sometime this summer). Players that have already reached Level 30 should have the skin automatically unlocked following their first full match (that earns XP) after the patch. Stalker Artemis Skin (Twitter Promotion Exclusive): Details will be announced soon on how to acquire this exclusive promotional skin. Twitch Ymir (Twitch.TV Promotion Exclusive): Stream on Twitch.TV for 5000 minutes using the new in-game Broadcast functionality to acquire this skin (see below for more). Twitch.TV Integration Players can now stream their matches live on Twitch.TV directly from the game without additional 3rd Party software. Configure your stream on the BROADCAST tab of the TV tab. Players that stream Smite using the in-game broadcast function have the opportunity to earn specific achievements based on total minutes broadcasted. See the BROADCAST tab for additional information. General: The new free god rotation is Aphrodite, Arachne, Guan Yu, He Bo, Neith. Consumables and Active Items now show as primary-level categories in the Item Store, directly below Recommended and Popular Items (they are no longer sub-categorized under “Other”). There have also been a variety of other cleanups and small UI modifications to the in-match Item Store. This includes a search dialogue. In Custom Matches using Draft Pick mode, the first party to join the Custom Match after match creation will now be assured the first draft pick. When running Borderless window mode at your native monitor resolution, the minimize button will again be visible in the main lobby. The duration of the Friend Online popup notification has been increased slightly. Fixed an issue in which death animations on certain gods would not play correctly in certain situations. Minor cleanups and fixes have been made to the Assault map. Fixed a variety of bugs with the Character Builder on the GUIDES menu. The FRIENDS tab is now the first tab on the SOCIAL menu. PARTY is the second tab. Match of the Day and Assault Casual mode are no longer restricted to solely North American servers. A new option has been added to the VIDEO tab of the SETTINGS menu that allows you to adjust Gamma. Broadly speaking, you can use this to adjust how “bright” the game feels. Spectator Changes Fixed an issue where a synced spectator could get out of sync even if the party leader did not rewind or dilate time. Spectating a target from the top-down view will now default to the camera location to the highest location (although spectators can still use Q/E to zoom in and out while attached). Collision against the world map (except going out of bounds) has been removed for the top-down camera view to prevent view snapping. When using the spectate commands via system chat, acknowledgement and denial messages will print to the chat and to the log. Type “/SpectateStop” in the system chat to cancel a queued spectating session. Active Items Blink (New!) Using this item will allow you to teleport short distances instantly. You must be out of combat for 10s before it can be used. Cooldown – 90s. Motivate (Major Change) Using this ability now grants the closest 3 minions permanent buffs making them equal to fire minions. The minions are also healed back to full health. Cooldown – 90s. Portal (Major Change) Using this ability now creates a portal entrance at your spawning location and a portal exit at your ground target. The portal exists for 30 seconds after placing it, allowing 1 player to go through the portal once every 2 seconds. Cooldown – 180s. Shielded Recall (New!) Using this item allows you to recall faster and without interruption. You can still be damaged, but you are immune to crowd control and are unable to move. Cooldown – 90s. Gods Apollo The Moves The base damage has been increased from 50/85/120/155/190 to 70/115/160/205/250. The physical power contribution has been increased from 50% to 60%.
New Skins: Blood Eagle Thor — This skin, drawn from the lore of Tribes: Ascend, can be purchased for gems, or is free to anyone that buys or has bought the Tribes: Ascend Game of the Year Edition (from the Tribes Ascend Store or Steam). New Gamemode: ASSAULT NOTE: This mode will be available only for special MEDIA/STREAMING matches on Thursday, April 11. It will be available for all players beginning Friday, April 12. The Assault gamemode features a single lane with 2 towers, a Phoenix and a Minotaur surrounding both a friendly and enemy base. Your god selection is random. No recalls are allowed and you cannot return to the fountain area after leaving it. General: The in-match Item Store has undergone a significant UI overhaul. On the Character Builder screen, you may now save your choices, as well as choose to use this profile when you have auto-buying turned on in the game. (Further future improvements to this functionality are planned). A popup notification now shows when Friends come online. You can control this behavior from the UI tab of the SETTINGS menu, deciding whether to show friend online notifications always, only in the lobby, only in game or never. The Conquest queue under the Casual tab now accepts parties of only up to 3 players. A separate “Conquest Pre-made” queue has been created for 5-person parties. Domination, Arena and Assault still support parties of up to 5 players. When running in borderless window mode at your monitor’s native resolution, the window will always be positioned on the primary monitor and cannot be moved. This helps the game behave more like “fullscreen” mode, solving a variety of user issues. Fixed a variety of map bugs and issues in Joust. Spectator Changes Pinging the minimap with the left mouse button will move the camera to a predetermined height and pitch with the pinged location as the focal point. Pinging the minimap with the right mouse button will move the camera to the precise ping location, preserving the camera angle and camera height. Fixed an issue where clicking the mouse at the beginning of spectating could sometimes send the view to a Phoenix. Smoothed out transitions between various camera modes and FOV changes now smoothly blend. Fixed an issue where keyboard input was not available until everyone had loaded into the map in spectator mode. Removed the ability to report players from the Spectator End of Match Lobby. Fixed a crash condition when playing back demos. Gods Anhur General FX have been updated for visuals and performance. Anubis General FX have been updated for visuals and performance. Ao Kuang Slither Fixed an issue with animations on some abilities not playing correctly if fired while using the Slither ability. Apollo Across the Sky The base damage per tick (4 ticks) has been increased from 60/75/90/105/120 to 70/95/120/145/170. Arachne Broodlings If the eggs are broken by damage, 1 spiderling is spawned instead of 2. The spiderlings will now attack the enemy that caused the eggs to burst. Tangled Web The radius of the web has been reduced from 25 to 20 ft. The web now cripples enemies that are within its radius, preventing movement based abilities from being used. The lifetime of the web has been changed from 7s at all ranks to 3/3.5/4/4.5/5s. The speed at which the web is fired has been increased. The web will now deploy immediately if fired at her feet. Cupid Fixed a description problem where the damage values in the game lobby and on tooltips was incorrect. Fields of Love The base damage has been increased from 175/225/275/325/375 to 220/300/380/460/540. He Bo Flood Waters The flood waters now give allies the movement speed increase as well as himself. Kali Kali Rage While this buff is active, her basic attacks, Blood Lash and Frenzy also cause her targets to Bleed for 5/10/15/20/25 physical damage every .5s for 2s. Siphon Blood Kali now heals an additional 20% from any targets hit that were affected by her Bleed. The delay between the damage being done and the heal being applied to Kali has been removed. Frenzy The damage per tick has been increased from 60/75/90/105/120 to 60/80/100/120/140. The physical power contribution per tick has been increased from 15% to 20%. Loki Aimed Strike The physical power contribution has been decreased from 150% to 100%. Neith Back Flip A slight build has been added to the beginning of this ability before firing, similar to other leaps. XBalanque Branching Bola Fixed an issue where the Branching Bola’s were doing slightly more damage than intended.

New God: Apollo, the God of Music PASSIVE – Audacity After 10 successful basic attacks, Apollo gains Audacity, attacking with both hands and increasing his attack speed by 100% for the next 5 attacks (hit or miss) he makes. So Beautiful Apollo strums a single cord on his Lyre. It’s so beautiful it hurts, and all enemies in a long range line take 80/135/190/245/300 (+80% of your physical power) physical damage. Cost – 60/65/70/75/80. Cooldown – 15/14/13/12/11s. Serenade Apollo uses his amazing voice to mesmerize all nearby enemies for .7/1.1/1.5/1.9/2.3s. Any damage done breaks the effect. Cost – 75. Cooldown – 17/16/15/14/13s. The Moves Apollo runs forward and slides on his knees, dealing 50/85/120/155/190 (+50% of your physical power) physical damage, knocking aside all enemies and adding a stack of Audacity for each enemy hit. At the end of the slide, the movement speed is decreased for enemies and increased for himself and allies by 5/10/15/20/25% for 2s. Cost – 70. Cooldown – 15s. Across The Sky Apollo rides his chariot across the sky, choosing when to land, dealing 60/75/90/105/120 (+30% of your physical power) physical damage every .2s for .8s and knocking back enemies when he lands. Cost – 10 + 50 per second. Cooldown – 110/105/100/95/90s. New Skins: Apollo Slickshot Bakasura Feaster Bunny A special thank you to community members Ironwolf09, LordTekron and EEkoz for their forum posts inspiring the Feaster Bunny skin. General: The first login experience has been modified some to help better guide new users to learning resources. The ability to have separate resolutions and screen types between the overall game lobby and a match has been removed.
